Tap Social was founded in 2016 and was driven by a passion for good beer and social justice. We’re a social enterprise providing training and employment to people currently serving and recently released from prison sentences, with programmes in brewing, business start-up, hospitality, sales, and more.

We’re passionate about providing effective rehabilitation and reducing reoffending by providing valuable and meaningful opportunities to people who have found themselves in the criminal justice system. Our warehouse at the back of an industrial estate in Oxford is also home to a taproom, coffee shop and community space, hosting a range of events including gigs, comedy nights, street food, yoga classes, seminars, conferences, weddings, private parties, fundraisers and more.
