Winter is looking like a busy and exciting season, as we venture to a variety of retail shows and host our series of pop ups. We’re attending five retail shows, and hosting pop ups at four different events, giving you plenty of opportunity to try our products, and sample our amazing catering food.
Our pop ups are an opportunity for everyone to come, socialise, enjoy incredibly prepared food and have fun! Ross & Ross Food have held pop ups in previous years, and they’ve always been enjoyable, and the atmosphere is always lively. With this series of pop ups, were hoping to reenact this same experience, if not better. We have built relationships with many venues, and wanted everyone to all discover some of the stunning and striking venues that we’ve uncovered over the years.
Our Halloween pop up marks the start of our Winter pop up series, held at the impressive Stone & Wood Tiles showroom in Chipping Norton. This one night spook-tacular is like every normal pop up, just with an added frightening flare. Doors will open at 7:30pm, allowing time to take in the exceptional venue, before being seated for dinner at 8pm. Whilst enjoying your beautifully meal prepared by our spectacular chefs, you’ll be surrounded subtle decorations, and seated on a long table by glowing candlelight. Creepy cobwebs and petrifying pumpkins will creep around the venue, giving the night an eerie feel. After the four courses have been served, there will be entertainment from the extremely talented Harry Pane, who will be performing for the remainder of the evening. During the performance, there will be a bar where you can purchase drinks, relax and enjoy yourselves.
We will also be hosting Winter pop ups for four nights at LASSCO Three Pigeons, in November. This one-of-a-kind venue, which used to be an old coaching inn, along with endless antiques, salvages and curiosities dotted around the place, truly make this event a once in a lifetime dining experience. The night will evoke a cosy atmosphere, and will seat a few people (so buy your tickets quick) either on small, intimate tables, or one long, sociable table. The curtains will be drawn, allowing a gleaming warmth from the candles lit around the venue. After dinner, you may purchase additional drinks at the bar, and sit comfortably at your table and talk the night away.
If you’re as excited for Christmas as I am, there is no better place to get into the yule tide festivities, than attending our Christmas pop ups at Oxleaze Barn. Positioned at the heart of an organic farm, you can’t get more ‘Cotswolds’ than this! This scenic, opulent building with exposed beams and stone, along with our seasonal decorations, will make you feel at home and give you the opportunity to relish in the Christmas spirit. The beautiful grounds will show off Winter in all it’s glory, as the moon shines on the glistening grass. For this specific pop up, we will be serving an enticing Christmas Sharing Board, allowing you and others to try an array of the delicious dishes our chefs create. This will be followed by a main course and dessert, after which you can take in the magnificent views, and feel toasty warm in the comfort of the traditional Cotswold barn.
Our final pop up this Winter will be held at the picturesque Cotswolds Distillery, and will be our Burn’s Night pop up, to honour the traditional Scottish celebration. As it’s our Winter pop up series finale, we want to go out with a bang, and not just celebrate Burn’s night, but the success of all our pop ups this season. As with every pop up, a meal will be served to every guest, along with the opportunity to socialise with other guests, whilst unwinding with a drink.
