Max and Ash are the definition of lucky (and stylish for that matter…) Against all the British odds, they managed to have their ceremony outside – in January, at the gorgeous Whalley Farm. Both from Australia originally, Max is a Strategy Manager & Ash a Pilates Instructor, and they’ve kindly shared more details about their special day with us…
How did you meet?
We met on the dating app Bumble, we had a mutual friend who strongly suggested that Max should go on a date with me. We had been dating for two years, Max organised a special weekend away at one of our favourite getaway locations up the coast from Sydney. He proposed on our favourite beech early in the morning, it was so special. We were engaged for two and half years before we got married, in that time we had our beautiful daughter. Our original wedding plan was for it to be in Byron Bay, Australia, with both our families there. Unfortunately due to Covid19 and the Aust boarders being closed for so long, this just wasn’t going to happen. Once they opened the borders, we booked our flights and decided to have two weddings. One in the UK and one in Aust, both were intimate and perfect.
