Rhodes House

Rhodes House is a hidden delight, right in the heart of Oxford. Fashioned after a Cotswold mansion with colonial influences, Rhodes House has been the gathering place for Rhodes Scholars and their distinguished guests for nearly 100 years.

Prestigious alumni include students who achieved fame in leadership, science and sport such as Edwin Hubble, Howard Florey, Bill Clinton, Bob Hawke, Naomi Wolf and Bill Bradley, to name but a few. Now Rhodes House is available for others to walk the same boards and enjoy this historic venue.

This is the venue where imagination and history blend together to create a perfect day and the best of memories. Inside you will find dramatic bay windows, beamed ceilings, and warm wood floors. Outside you will discover award-winning gardens, which provide a colourful backdrop for a drinks reception and photos.

For smaller ceremonies, the Beit Room provides a warm, wood-paneled space with a triple aspect outlook to the lovely gardens. The Milner Hall with its barrel-vaulted ceiling and dramatic tall windows is an ideal location for larger ceremonies.
